How
Psychology Relates with People
There was a time when a
person who went to a psychiatrist was treated as a strange person. It may be
because of the expression “the spirit is gone,” but the place where the
threshold was high because of the perception that the hospital should go to a
crazy person, psychiatry. But now it's been a long time.
As a result of the 2018
National Health Insurance Corporation survey, the Department of Mental Health
was the medical department that ranked No. 1 in clinical patient growth over
the past decade. It means that mental illness is no longer a disease of a
specific person. The typical mental illnesses of modern people include panic
disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. It is important to
detect and treat these disorders early.
Mental illness may or may
not be a treatment, but it may be your choice, but there are certain things you
need to know to make a choice. It means that the progress or prognosis of the
disease is better than if the treatment is not. It may be better to receive it
as soon as possible.
In addition, in areas
where mental health welfare centers have not yet been established, public
health centers take over. You can find information on hospitals and clinics and
mental health welfare centers on the local menu, “Local Mental Health
Institutions”. However, only 22% of cases receive treatment or counseling. In
other words, 78% of people suffering from mental health problems are without
any treatment or counseling. Even worse, 81% of untreated people are unaware
that they have a mental health problem. With the recent increase in interest in
health, it is easy to find a hospital with a light cold and find people
sweating at a health club late at night. To pursue health, we first need to be
aware of the problem. There are many reasons for going to a mental health
department for treatment. Because of insomnia, you may go to a prescription for
sleeping pills, or go for stress counseling, but the word psychiatric care and
treatment does not take into account all of this. It just reminds you of
psychosis, a so-called psychosis, that makes you nervous and uncomfortable with
the Department of Mental Health. This prejudice and misunderstanding about
mental health medicine makes people stigmatize what they come to mental health medicine.
Having a wrong prejudice, regardless of what the other person actually does,
can cause the other person to feel alienated and selfless. However, in reality,
the Department of Mental Health nowadays deals more with neurosis-related
diseases such as stressful anxiety, depression, insomnia, and vases, rather
than psychosis, which the general public considers to be psychosis. In
addition, as celebrities reveal the facts of mental health and medical
treatment through media or broadcasting, a social atmosphere is forming that
mental health is not the only place where people with severe mental illness go.
